Lightlark | by Alex Aster

Book 7/52

Rating: ★★★☆☆

I somehow read 400 pages and still don’t have a clue what the world is like or what the motivations for these characters are. I would have liked it a bit more focused and with a richer background. I think a little prologue would have been nice to set the tone. I understand why the little love triangle is there but it was strained and seemed a bit forced.
